Fee payable (diploma or training equivalence or on the basis of a legal authorization to practice in Canada or the United States)

  • Candidates admitted on the basis of a legal authorization to practice in Canada or the United States will be refunded $100.
Placement test (may be required to process an equivalence request, see the detailed information)

  • Graduates and optometrists from Canada and the United States, as well as graduates from France who have completed a Master 2 at the ÉOUM, are generally not required to take this test.

Bridging program (likely to be required)

 

The total cost is determined based on the number of credits to be completed; see also ÉOUM.

  • In some cases, a portion of this fee may be included in the fee charged for the bridging program.
  • Graduates from Canada and the United States are generally not required to take this examination if they have already taken it or another recognized comprehensive examination. Holders of a legal authorization to practice optometry in Canada and the United States have usually already completed this type of examination.
